NEWPORT - Mrs. Lucy A. Baron, 82, of 9248 Chinavare Rd., Newport, died at 2:35 a.m. today in Mercy Hospital, where she had been for a day.
Services will be at 8:30 a. m. Friday in the Allore Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Catholic Church. The Rev. John Raymo will officiate, and burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. tomorrow where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 p. m. tomorrow and Thursday.
She was born Feb. 14, 1882, in Newport, the daughter of Daniel and Adeline Cousino. She married Clarence Baron Oct. 2, 1900, in St. Charles Church. She was a lifelong resident of Newport and a member of St. Charles Church.
Survivors are 3 sons, Clayton of Fremont, Ind., Amos of Lincoln Park and Joseph of Newport; 7 daughters, Miss Adeline Baron at home, Mrs. Raymond Anteau of Dearborn, Mrs. Lloyd Hale of Riverview, Mrs. Charles Myland of Newport, Mrs. Francis Bonneau of Rockwood, Mrs. Edward Rowe of Ypsilanti and Mrs. Gene Fountain of Newport; 2 sisters, Mrs. Susan Cousino of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Laura Bauley of Newport; 46 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death July 15, 1963.
