I am unable to find any trace of this birth in National Records of Scotland / Scotland's People and quite frankly find it unlikely that this is the correct birth record when the family resides in Haddingtonshire (now East Lothian).
I have established from 'Scotland's People' site that only 3 people named Eupham Cowan were born in Haddingtonshire between 1720 & 1820. (The names Eupham & Eupheme were often interchangeable....no record of any births for a Eupheme!) One of these births occurred in 1791 so too late to be 'our' Eupham/Eupheme.
Option 1) Eupham Cowan born 18 Nov 1722 at Saltoun - Parents Patrick Cowan & Clara Litster
Option 2) Eupham Cowan born 10 Mar 1728 at Pencaitland - Parents William Cowan & Hellen Ree (perhaps Reed?)
As both of these births were in the correct vicinity it seems very likely that one of them will be the correct match for this profile,
