John Canada Cowan was born about 1795 in North Carolina to Adam Cowan/Cowen and unknown. He died in 1869 in Buncombe County, NC. He was married to Mary Ann Walker and had two sons: Canada (possibly John Canada) and James Stewart. His occupation was farmer.

Cowan-1677 and Cowan-1676 appear to represent the same person because: Names and birthdates match. Death dates need resolving; one's presumably a typo or bad copy. Cowan-1676 is an unattached profile so needs merging into anyway.
