After a long voyage of seer weeks and three days they landed in Canada and made their way to Mersea, then a wilderness. At the time of her marriage she was residing in Detroit, Michigan, USA. She gave birth to fourteen children, of which only one died in infancy. In the last five years of her life, she lived with her daughter Mrs. Clunis.
