Biography

November 24, 1737 -- Deliverance Coward was born at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.[1]

March 15, 1760 -- Deliverance Coward and James Fitz Randolph married at Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.[2]

1761 - 1771 -- Deliverance Coward Fitz Randolph and James Fitz Randolph had six children: one daughter (Hannah) and five sons (Samuel, John, Isaac, Benjamin, and Stephen).

March 23, 1761 -- Hannah Fitz Randolph was born near Allentown, Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.

Circa 1763 -- Samuel Fitz Randolph was born at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.

Circa 1765 -- John Fitz Randolph was born at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.

October 30, 1766 -- "Deliverance [Coward] Fitz Randolph receiv[ed] that portion [of her deceased father's lands] known as 'Sugar Loaf Farm,' from a peculiar pine-clad hill within its limits."[3]

Circa 1769 -- Benjamin Fitz Randolph was born at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.

Circa 1771 -- Stephen Fitz Randolph was born at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, Province of New Jersey.

Before December 20, 1781 -- James Fitz Randolph died in a fight on a captured British ship.[4]

September 20, 1784 -- date of Deliverance Coward Fitz Randolph's will at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey.[5]

February 13, 1787 -- Deliverance Coward Randolph, age 49 years, 2 months, and 18 days, died at Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Deliverance, wife of James Randolph {sic}, was buried at the Old Yellow Meeting House Church graveyard, Red Valley (near Cream Ridge), Monmouth County, New Jersey.[6]

The Old Yellow Meeting House Church is located at Imlaystown, Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey.[7]

1900 -- Deliverance Coward Fitz Randolph's wedding dress was exhibited at the New Orleans Exposition. Mrs. Rebecca Camfield had given the dress to Mrs. Rita Milligan, one of Deliverance Coward Fitz Randolph's and Rebecca Camfield's descendants.[10]
