Charles Hutchins married Sally Cowing in Providence, Rhode Island on 25 October 1857. Charles, a resident of Providence, aged 38, stucco worker, born in Roxbury, Mass., son of Enoch & Sally, 2nd marriage. Sally, a resident of Providence, age 47, born Warren, Rhode Island, daughter of John & Elizabeth, 1st marriage.[1]
In 1860, Charles Hutchins, age 41, born Massachusetts, a stucco worker, resided in Ward 11, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Other members of his household were Sally Hutchins, age 48, born Rhode Island; Sophia A. Hutchins, age 17, born Massachusetts, and Mary C. Osborne, age 22, a tailoress, born in Rhode Island.[2]
Per her tombstone in the North Burial Ground, Providence, Rhode Island, Sally was born 23 October 1804 and died 10 March 1879.[3]
