Biography

John Cox was christened at Horsley, Gloucestershire, England on 27 Mar 1796. He was the son of Thomas Cox and Elizabeth Harvey.

He married Elizabeth Baxter at Horsley, Gloucestershire on 8 Nov 1818.

COX John, Elizabeth BAXTER, Edwin, Wm, Hrt, Martha, Mary, John, Sarah, Ben, Joseph arrived in SA 1838-07-28 on Duke of Roxburghe from London 38-04-12 Barry Leadbeater's South Australian Shipping & Immigration Passenger Lists

He died at Walkerville, South Australia on 4 Apr 1867.[1] and was buried in Walkerville Cemetery, South Australia.[2][3]
