Biography

She was born about 1715 in Henrico County, Virginia and her parents were Martha (Stratton) and George Cox.

One reference indicates she was the daughter of George and Martha (Maiden name unknown but not Stratton) Cox of Henrico County.[1]

Martha Cox or Cocke married about 1734 in Cumberland County, Virginia to Thomas Walton.

She passed away about 1798 in Cumberland County Virginia, USA.

Cox-11457 and Cox-23544 appear to represent the same person because: let's make the superfluous person go away

It is extremely unclear if the mother of this (and her two siblings) profile is correct.

Its is clear from Adventurers of Purse and PErson that she was named Martha and had another husband named Hughes. But I find no indication whatsoever that her maiden name was Baugh.
