Biography
Ronda Louisa Cox was born on 12 Oct 1925 in Maitland, South Australia, the daughter of John Anthony Cox and Alma Louisa Adams. Is the surname Adams a co-incidence, or is there an earlier connection between the families? Alma Louisa Adams was the daughter of William Adams and Hephzibah Adams (another Adams!!). [1] [2] [3]
On 1 Mar 1926, in Weetulta Methodist Church, South Australia, Ronda married Adams-16534, the son of Harrold March Adams and Lucy Winifred Allchurch. [2] [4]
There were four children of the marriage, namely:
- Christine Dawn born 17 Sep 1950 in Maitland
- Jeffrey Keith born 23 Aug 1952 in Maitland
- Alison Joyce born 13 Nov 1953 in Maitland
- Gavin John born about 1955
Ronda died on 23 May 2005, aged 79, in Maitland, South Australia and is buried in Maitland Cemetery. [5] [6]
