Biography

Christi Ann was the daughter of Perry and Margaret Cox of Estill County, Kentucky, and the sister of Eli, Silas, William, Lucinda, Melvina. She was the second wife of O. D. Henderson and the mother of John, Jennie, Chloe, Othenile D., Livie, Joseph, Julia, Elbert, Lula, Orla, and Herbert. Her husband died in 1890 when her youngest child was still a baby. Her sons kept the family farm running. She continued to live with her son, Herbert, until her death in 1931.
