Biography

Wilfred Daniel Cox is born on July 22, 1897, in Dungog, New South Wales, Australia [11][2]. His parents are George Robert Cox (1871-1940) and Jane Brewer (1875-1946).

On February 25, 1920, Wilfred marries Maud Alice Bowden (1895-1966) in Dungog [1][2][3]. They have one child:

• Hilda Laurel Bowden Cox 1920-1991 + (1940) Jack Duncan Clerke 1912-1992

Maud dies in 1966. Wilfred dies in Sydney on October 30, 1972 [1][2]. He is buried with Maud in the Dawson River General Cemetery in Cundletown (near Taree), NSW [2][4][5].
