Biography
Edward was born in 1855. Edward Cox ... Edmond was shot and killed in 1894.[1] "Mac Austin, who killed Edward (sic) Cox a few days ago, is still at large and no effort seems to be made to bring him to justice. It is said that he slew Cox without a cause. Austin is about 18, and just returned from the penitentiary, whither he was sent from Wise county, The murder was committed in Wise, near the edge of this county."[2]
