Lived in Paradise Valley, NV for 15 years. He was a dealer at Las Vegas casinos for a good portion of that time. He died of an accidental drowning in a swimming pool where he lived. The 26 May 1960 Las Vegas Review-Journal had banner headlines reading "Vegs Dealer Drowns in Pool". The related news article is held by Richard Bennett in family history files.
He was in the Army during WW II.
