Biography
Dora Cordelia Cox, daughter of George W. Cox and Talitha Cumi Slaton, was born on 6 Oct. 1870 at Jackson County, Alabama, USA.[1] She appeared on the census of 26 June 1880 in the home of her parents at Jackson County, Alabama.[2]
She married Alfred Jefferson Dempsey[1]on 29 Nov. 1885 at Franklin County, Arkansas.[3]
Dora died on 21 Dec. 1933 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, and was buried at Rosston Cemetery, Rosston, Cooke County, Texas. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with Alfred..[1]
