Hilda was born in England in 1926 to David and Ellen (Nelly) Cox. She had two sisters Winifred and Elsie, and one brother Arthur David.
She moved to Canada
She married Frank Bourdon (of French and Mohawk/Huron heritage) in 1948.
In 1949 David was born.
In 1950 Patricia was born.
Hilda and Frank separated when the kids were young.
Hilda raised David and Patricia as a single parent in the 1950's/1960's
Hilda worked as a seamstress for Jantzen of Canada for some 30 odd years.
Hilda and Frank divorced in 1974
She married Erich Albert Saleina. (DOB July 31) in 1974/1975
She died (of cancer(initially uterine, but later spread to stomach and lymph nodes)) being held in her granddaughter Jeanette's arms in Surrey Memorial Hospital with her son David and her husband Erich at her bedside on April 26, 1991, her daughter Patricia tried but was unable to get there in time.
She was cremated and her ashes spread at Crescent Beach in Surrey, BC, Canada in 1991.
