Died 23 JAN 1963 in El Monte, Los Angeles Co., California and buried in Whittier, Los Angeles County, California in Rose Hills Memorial Park. [3]

Note: Jim had step-daughter, Rosemary and step-son "Ti" Barnes. Joined tank corps in WWI, but saw no action as war was over soon after. Inducted in WWII, but rejected. (from notes of Leo Cox) Lived Plymouth and Quincy, IL while married to Ruth; while married to Ethyl, lived 123 1/3 N. 6th Ave., Quincy, IL; operated Goodluck Cafe, 224 N.. 5th St., Quincy, IL. Also lived 1700 Spring St., Quincy, IL and Las Vegas, NV.
