Biography

Joseph Cox married Sarah Haines 31 Aug 1761 in New Jersey. [1]

Death

John Cox wrote his will on 17 Dec 1767 while he was a resident of Readington, Hunterdon, New Jersey. He left his wife Sarah all of the property that she brought into the marriage. He directed that the property where he was living was to be sold and given to his son, Thomas. The property he owned where his father, Thomas, and his mother, Rebecca was living in Monmouth County, New Jersey was left to his father and mother to continue living. After they died, that property was to be sold and given to his son when he turned 21 yoa. [2]
