Biography

No birth record for Elizabeth Cox has been found. She was likely born in Baltimore County around 1690 based on the year of her marriage. She is named in the 1713 will of her father, Christopher Cox , as Elizabeth Day and her husband, Nathan Day, is named the executor of his will. [1]

Marriage

Elizabeth married to Nicholas Day sometime before 1713. After Nicholas died she married Robert Bishop.[2]

okay, you guys, and Jack, need a little DAY help from my friends and Mentors...

this is an ENTRY in the Register I am adding............. can you match it to an Elizabeth Day? the child born 1707... OR should I just forgot I saw it? I think this new Registrar was senile???

In 2017 Elizabeth was erroneously merged with the profile for a Sarah Cox. There is no evidence that Elizabeth also went by the name Sarah, and middle names were very rare during this time period. I am therefore removing Sarah as one of her names.
