Mrs. Amma Fay Lilly, 84, of Crab Orchard, died Saturday at 9 a.m. in a local hospital after a long illness.
Born Nov. 16, 1895, in Summers County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Sanders and Mary Allifare Cox.
A resident of Crab Orchard for the past 25 years, Mrs. Lilly was a member of the Hill Top Baptist Church.
Her husband, Robert V. Lilly preceded in her death in 1944.
Survivors include three sons, Odley E. Lilly, Robert E. Lilly and Elbert L. Lilly all of Crab Orchard; seven daughters, Mrs. Una Hedrick of Nimitz, Mrs. Arlene Hunt of Crab Orchard, Mrs. Gaye Decker of Huntington, Mrs. Jean West of Fairdale, Mrs. Mary Broughman of Nitro, Mrs. Janice Lindsay of New Ellenton, S.C., and Mrs. Dixie Miller of Lynnwood, Washington; three sisters, Sylvia Radford of Daniels, Goldie Tolliver of Jumping Branch and Stella Lilly of Beckley; two brothers, Carley R. Cox and Arvil E. Cox, both of Beckley; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Calfee Chapel with the Rev. G. Elmo Renegar in charge. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
