Biography
Mary Frances, who often went by her middle name in records, was born in Malden, Massachusetts, in 1829, the daughter of Samuel Cox and Elizabeth Stanton.
She married George D. Allen in 1853 [1]. They resided in Malden, where George was a coal dealer, and had three children, though only one daughter survived childhood.
Frances died in 1906 (headstone says 1907) and was buried at the Salem Street Cemetery in Malden with her husband.[2]
