Elizabeth was baptized July 26 1697 in Dorchester as "Elizabeth Cocks, Sist r Popes Grandchild". Nothing more is known of her. She may have died young.

Elizabeth was born about 1697. She is the daughter of John Coxe and Susanna Pope. [1]

Elizabeth is not listed in the Dorchester baptism records. The only record listed there is "Thomas y* Son of John Cock was borne August y" 22d 1697." So either Elizabeth is Thomas' twin or she wasn't baptized on this date. But why would their father go to two different churches at the same time to get twins baptized? See [1]

OK, I went through the Dorchester baptism book more thoroughly. Elizabeth is indeed listed there a few months before Thomas.
