Obituary

Frankfort-Ella Mae Fitzgerald, 72, wife of Willard Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012. She was born in Bowling Green, KY on July 31, 1939 to Zelma Poteet Crabtree, of Florida, and the late Frank Crabtree. She is a retired employee of the State of Kentucky and a member of the Church of Christ. Besides her husband and mother, she is also survived by five sons, Mark Fitzgerald and Marshall Fitzgerald, both of Frankfort, Mike Fitzgerald, of Shelbyville, Mitchell Fitzgerald, of Berea, and Martin Fitzgerald, of Lawrenceburg; ten grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; three sisters, Sonia Cecil, of Louisville, Anita Arnold and Susie Jenks, both of Florida; six brothers, Donnie Crabtree, Ronnie Crabtree, Charles Crabtree, Larry Crabtree, Royce Crabtree, and Jerry Crabtree. Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers are Marshall Fitzgerald, Mike Fitzgerald, Martin Fitzgerald, Mitchell Fitzgerald, Marshall Dillon Fitzgerald, David Fitzgerald, Leslie Todd Fitzgerald, and Christopher Fitzgerald. Honorary casketbearer is Mark Fitzgerald. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
