Biography
James Crabtree was the son of John Crabtree and Phyllis Beckett. His first wife was Esther Cawthorn[1] daughter of Joseph Cawthorn and Jane Johnson. James married secondly Eliza (Gill) Bullock March quarter 1863 in Pontefract district.[2] James Crabtree died in the March quarter 1875 in the Pontefract district at the stated age of 66.[3]
