Amanda married Joseph Lee Anderson (born on September 8, 1852 in Wayne, Kentucky, United States; son of Moses Morris Anderson).
In the 1870 census Amanda (age 4) was in Fentress, Tennessee, United States.[1] James Crabtree 70 years, Martha E Crabtree 35 years, Bernette Crabtree 21 years, Sarah Jane Crabtree 18 years, James J Hinols 14 years, John S Hinols 13 years, Amanda Crabtree 4 years, Polly A Crabtree 3 years, William H Crabtree 1 years.
In the 1880 census Mandy (age 16), At Home, was the single daughter of James Crabtree in District 5, Grainger, Tennessee, United States.[2] James Crabtree 65 years, wife Martha Crabtree 45 years, daughter Mandy J. Crabtree 16 years, son Hiram Crabtree 14 years, daughter Pollie Crabtree 12 years, son Henry Crabtree 10 years, son George Crabtree 8 years.

In the 1920 census Mandy (age 56) was the wife of Joe Anderson in Civil District 1, Fentress, Tennessee, United States.[5] Joe Anderson 68 years, wife Mandy J Anderson 56 years, son Virgil Anderson 24 years, son Joe L Anderson 19 years, daughter Mirtle M Anderson 13 years.
In the 1930 census Mandy (age 73) was the wife of Joe Anderson in District 1, Fentress, Tennessee, United States.[6] Joe Anderson 87, wife Mandy Anderson 73, son Virgil Anderson 35, grandchild Marie Anderson 10, grandchild Ralph Anderson 8, grandchild Louise Anderson 6.
Amanda died on March 19, 1947 in Jamestown, Fentress, Tennessee, aged 84. She was buried in Crockett Cemetery, Fentress County, Tennessee.[7][8]
