In 1841 census john was in Cardross with William b1831' Jean b1833 and John b1835 look like his children by a first wife, also Elizabeth Craig b 1819.
Also in 1841 census in Cardross are Thomas Craig b1771 Catheribe b1776 Andrew b1806 and Jean b1826. Relateives of John and family?
Was described as the late John Craig at Annie's wedding in June 1879.
He may have died in September 1870, there is a burial record in Edge Hill Cemetery for a John Craig aged 69 years of 2 Edge Lane on 13th September 1870.
