Margaret was born on 16 March 1841 in , Pennsylvania, USA. She was the daughter of James Craig and Fannie (Wolf) Craig.[1]
When Margaret was 18 she married John Richards on 25 December 1859 in Lockport Township, St. Joseph, Michigan, USA. Note: #NF512[2]
Margaret died at the age of 82 on 26 April 1923 in Three Rivers, St. Joseph, Michigan, USA.[1]
In the 1860 census she was listed as Margaret Richards, living with her brother Jonas W. Craig, her mother Fanny Craig and several Craig siblings age 9-16.
In 1880 the Richards, including Frank, are living in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan. John is in the restaurant business. Clara Klingerman is living with them, and is a clerk at a store.
In 1923 she is living in Three Rivers, according to the obituary of her brother, James R.
