Biography
Doris was born in 1936, the daughter of James Edward Craig and Bertha Vera Beatrice Barriball
Doris lived on York Rd, Huiroa, attended Huiroa Primary School, and her limited secondary schooling was by correspondence.
After leaving school she worked at Stratford Hospital as a cleaner at the nurses home and as cook in the kitchen. In the 1950's she moved to New Plymouth to work for the Yiannets at Chris's Milk Bar.
After marrying Don, they lived in New Plymouth until 1966, when Don transferred with the Police to Stratford.
Doris worked in the dairy (opposite the High School) and then for 10 years at T.A.B.
In 1989 Doris and Don retired to New Plymouth.
She passed away in 2014, her ashes were scattered and Don has since joined her. [1]
