Biography

There is a death record in Wayne County, Indiana, for William Craig, died February 13, 1917, age 76. There is no Almira Craig in the records.

The 1902 directory of Indianapolis has a William R. Craig, boarding at 1119 Bellefountain, working as a clerk for American Express Company. The head of household was apparently Robert A. Craig, a conductor.

Not found in 1907 Richmond directory. Not buried in Earlham Cemetery.

The Richmond Item, May 11, 1929, reported the death of William Craig of Mt. Carmel, Indiana. He died on May 8 in Mt. Carmel; he was 63. Services were held at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member.
