John Craig was born 17 May 1806, in Brechin, Angus, Scotland. His parents were James Craig and Jean Rennie. He married Elizabeth Sim 9 March 9, 1829, in Brechin, Angus, Scotland. John Craig passed away 3 Jan 1844, in Brechin, Angus, Scotland, at the age of 37, and is buried in the Brechin Cathedral Cemetery there.^[1][2][3]
