Biography

William Craig was born about 1753. He married Kennedy Copeland and in November 1794 had three of their children baptized in Prince Edward Island.[1]

  3. Alexander Craig 1786 - ?
  4. Elizabeth Craig 1780 - 1851
  5. John Craig 1788 - 1852
  6. William Craig 1791 - ?
  7. Ann M'gougan (born Craig) 1791 - ?

William Craig was said to have arrived on the Island in 1770 with Governor Patterson. [2] He later moved to the Malpeque area, [3] and in 1790 to Bedeque.

Their children were: Elizabeth, Robert, Jane, Alexander, John, William and Ann. [4]

Not in Lot 18, 1798 Census of Prince Edward Island or any of the lots adjoining Bedeque Bay
