Obituary - Memphis Commercial Appeal.

Mr. and Mrs. Marion M. Epps of 1881 Wynton were killed yesterday afternoon in a two-car, head-on collision near Earle, Ark., which took the lives of five persons.

Epps, who was 51, and his wife, Ninnie Helen Epps, who was 48, had lived in Memphis most of their lives where Mr. Epps was employed by Lehman Roberts Co. They were members of Parkway Methodist Church.

Arkansas police said the accident occurred on Highway 64, about five miles east of Earle. Also killed were Mrs. Floy J. Epps, 68, mother of Marion Epps of Cherry Valley, Ark.: Miss Sandra Dollar, 17, of Little Rock and Lendel L. Dailey, 18, of Wynne, Ark.

Police said Miss Dollar was driving a car with Mr. Dailey as a passenger when her car and the car driven by Mr. Epps collided. The bodies were taken to Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis.

Mr. and Mrs. Epps leave a son, James Wayne Epps, 20, of the Wynton address and Mrs. Sarah Cobb, mother of Mrs. Epps, also of the Wynton address. Mr. Epps also leaves two brothers, James B. Epps of Nashville and Harold W. Epps with the Navy; and four sisters, Mrs. Horace Farris of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Carol Green of Missouri, Mrs. Troy Seaton of Wynne, Ark., and Mrs. Hazel Stafford of Cherry Valley, Ark.
