Biography
Jesse was born in 1833. He was the son of Albert Crain and Martha Beavers.
He married Mary Ann Gosnell on 1 Mar 1856 in Greene, Tennesse, and they had sons George and William in Tennessee, where Jesse was a Corporal in the Civil War: Company D, 4th Regiment, Tennessee Infantry.
His son Thomas was born in Missouri where Mary Ann probably died. Jesse then moved to Texas where Jesse married Matilda Samples on 27 Apr 1876 in Hill, Texas and had son, Franklin.
