Biography

Jeremiah Crandall, son of Eber Crandall and Mary Cottrell, was born in 1718 in Westerly. [1]

About 1744 Jeremiah of Hopkinton, Rhode Island married Keziah (maiden name unknown). [2] Jeremiah and Keziah had the following known children:

  1. Prudence Crandall;
  2. Keziah (Crandall) Wait; [3]
  3. Sarah (Crandall) Pendleton;
  4. Jeremiah Crandall;
  5. Matthew Crandall;
  6. Luke Crandall;
  7. Ebenezer Crandall;
  8. Thankful (Crandall) Curtis.
