Biography
When Debra Crapo was born on April 9, 1762, in Rochester, Massachusetts, her father, Consider Crapo, was 26, and her mother, Mercy West, was 23.
She had four brothers and seven sisters. Hannah (Crapo) Ashley, born 1758, Sarah Crapo, born 1760, Deborah (Crapo) Barney, born 1760, Mercy (Crapo) Barney, born 1765, Mary (Crapo) Barden, born 1767, Waitstill (Crapo) Barney, born 1769, Consider Crapo, born 1772, Noah Crapo, born 1774, John Crapo, born 1775, George Crapo, born 1778, Thankful Crapo, born 1780, and Prudence Crapo, born 1782.[1]
She married Benjamin B Barney on December 11, 1783, in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Her sister Waitstill married his brother, George.
She died in 1822 in Savoy, Massachusetts, at the age of 60.
