Biography

When Hezekiah Crapo was born on May 12, 1719, in Rochester, Massachusetts, his father, Pierre Crapeau, was 42 and his mother, Penelope White, was 32. ^[1][2]

In 1759, Hezekiah signed a receipt for his share of his father's estate.^[3]

He died on March 11, 1795, in his hometown, having lived a long life of 75 years.^[4][5]

Probate

Hezekiah Crapo of Rochester, yeoman died intestate and on 23 march 1795, Nicholas Crapo and Phillip Crapo both of Rochester were granted the administration of his estate.^{[6] [7]}

His inventory was taken on 16 March 1795 in Rochester.^[8]

In 1795, his estate could not be divided with spoiling the whole, and was under the incumbrance of the lifetime of Bethiah Crapo and Rebecca Crapo. ^[9]

In 1799, an account of his estate by Nicholas Crapo was recorded which included the sale of personal estate, appraisers, and administration fees.^[10]
