Biography
Emily Brown Crary, born 16 Apr 1812, was the second child of Prudence (Peabody) Crary (1791-1820) and Nathaniel Marsh Crary (1784-1866) [1].
She married in Preston, Connecticut, 17 Jul 1842, Nathan Brown (1813 - 1859). There were 3 children of this union:
- Ellen Phelps (Brown) Stickle (1844-1866); married Israel F. Stickle
- Margaret A. (Brown) Stanton (1849-); married Henry Clinton Stanton
- Lucy Crary (Brown) Miner (1851-1933); married Rowland Smith Miner
Emily Brown (Crary) Brown died 26 Dec 1861 at North Stonington, Connecticut. Her grave is in River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA [2].
