Nancy was born in 1770. She is the daughter of William Crawford and Rachel Sawyers. She married James Tallman on 13 Jan 1789. Nancy Crawford is James Tallman's 1st wife. They lived in Pochontas County, now West Virginia. They had 5 children together;

• Rachel Tallman-married Peter Adam Hull, born 1794-1838, son of Adam Hull and Esther Keister.
• Rebecca Tallman-married Reuben Slaven.
• Benjamin Tallman-married Elizabeth Warwick on July 14, 1814 in Bath Co, Va. She is the daughter of William Warwick and Nancy Agnes Craig.
• William Tallman-married Janes Bradshaw, daughter of John Bradshaw and Nancy McKamie.
• Boone Tallman-married Mary Poage, daughter of George W. Poage.

James Tallman's 2nd wife is Jemima Gillespie. [1]
