Alexander Crawford was born on 20 December 1751 in Linlithgow, Linlithgowshire, Scotland.[1][2][3]

Alexander (25) married Agnes Brown (26) (born about 1750 in Muiravonside, Stirlingshire) on 18 April 1777 in Carriden, West Lothian, Scotland.[4] Their known children were:

  1. Agnes Crawford (1787– )
  2. William Crawford (1789–1862)
  3. Jean Crawford (1791– )
  4. Thomas Crawford (1793– )
  5. George Crawford (1801–1863)

Alexander died about 1820, aged 68.
