Biography

Gertrude was born on May 23, 1885^[1] in Kingston, Ontario^[2] to William Crawford (1856-1920) and his wife, Sarah Jane (Wright) Crawford (1853-1932). She lived with her family in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.^[3] The family was of Scottish origin and of the Methodist faith.^[3]

Marriage and Children

Gertrude married Ezra Edgerton Pixleyon April 29, 1908 in Kingston, Ontario.^[4]

By 1911^[5] she had converted to the Anglican faith.

Gertrude passed away in 1964 and is buried in Sydenham, Ontario.^[6]
