1850 Census lists David as 30 years old. He should have been born in 1921. Born in Tennessee
(Research):Parents were born in North Carolina according to the 1880 census. Alabama became a state on December 14, 1819.
Family Search death date is 24 Nov 1895. Gravestone confirms date only listing Nov. 1895.
David was born in Chamber County Alabama in 1821 which was split into Shelby County and Montgomery County in 1821.
David's daughter Myrtle death certificate lists David Crawford born in Tennessee. The Death certificate was witnessed by D A Ramsey, Myrtle's husband.
His son Edward listed his place of birth as Tennessee on the 1910 Colorado Census.
He moved to Wright County Missouri between 1858 and 1860. He followed his sister, Sarah G. Crawford-Russell who moved to Hartville, Wright County about a year earlier. David H Crawford presided as town Judge from 1860 to 1863 in Wright County, Mo.
From July 1861 to November 2, 1863 the only County Court business conducted was ordering money collected on notes due. He is also over saw the resolution of Wills and those that died intestate in Wright County and can be found as "Principal" on wills during a three year period.
He served in the Federal Army in 1861 in the 7th Enrolled Missouri Militia.
