Biography

Edward Hildebrand Crawford was born on September 6, September 1888, in Mountain Grove, Wright, Missouri to David Henderson and Elizabeth (Martin) Crawford. He was a rancher who served as Delta County Commissioner from 1933 to 1946. He married Barbara Ellen Cannon on 20 November 1909, in Montrose, Montrose, Colorado, United States. They were the parents of a daughter, Alma Faye (1910-1990). On February 6, 1913, he married Anna Helen Bruno in Gunnison, Colorado. They were the parents of Weldon Ray (1913-1991), Edith Lorraine (1914-2007), Dorothy Lucille (1916-2010), Edna Carol (1918-2010), Lois Margaret (1921-2011), and Robert Wesley (1925-2011). He died on 29 April 1965, in Montrose, Montrose, Colorado, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Eckert, Delta, Colorado, United States.
