Biography

Herbert was the son of Alfonzo and Rebecca Crawford and the brother of Alda, Alva, Ruth, Thelda, Phyllis, Rebecca, and Laura. He was born in Brigham City in 1900. His father was a farmer. Herbert married Zada Rackham on January 21, 1924, in Davis County, Utah. At that time, we was working as a truck driver. They divorced before 1930. By 1930, Herbert was living in Burns, Oregon, where he was a machinist with a road construction crew. Herbert married Nina (Wiseman) Currier in the Mormon Chapel in Reno, Nevada on August 31, 1956. They had no children. He died in 1966 and is buried in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
