Biography

George W Crawford was Born on 01 Sep 1840 and Christened on 11 Oct 1840 in Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland. He was the son of Robert Crawford and Lillias Notman[1][2]

George resided in Newbattle, Midlothian, Scotland[3] until at least 1851[3].

George emigrated to the United states with his parents and siblings in 1854[4][5][6]

He married Kate Bowie[7][4] in 1862.[7][4] in Sharon, Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States.[7] Together they had 8 children:
