Susan for your Research here is the project link

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:US_Southern_Colonies to read the different subprojects it covered. You could also Google the words Southern Colonies and probably find other data for your research. The WikiTree project was designed to either create the space pages or add profiles of ancestors who lived in this time of exploration, then colonization until 1783.

thanks

Thanks, Isabelle. I cleaned up the bio. I had accidentally created a duplicate myself. I hope it is okay now.

Susan.

Hi Susan,

I see you are working on merges. Please review our Matching and Merging FAQ to understand your responsibilities in doing merges.

During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is appended to the end of the text of the merged-into profile. After a merge, you will need to clean up the text by removing duplicate information and consolidating what is left leaving the profile with a single Biography section and a single Sources section.

The Help page on Biographies has a lot of great information on what to include and what to omit in a Biography.

Isabelle
