DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Isaac by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Isaac:
I think that Sarah “Sally” Smith was married to John Creech (Creech-939) and Isaac is their son – I see this possibility listed in the notes section and I think it is right! Supporting evidence: the death certificate of one of John Creech’s other sons, Hezekiah, lists Sallie Smith as his mother. The 1850 Census for John Creech’s household has wife Sarah, b. North Carolina along with Hezekiah, age 16. Thomas Creech’s wife was Celia (maiden name: Harrison, according to many sources). This means that this Isaac Creech (Creech-308) and Isaac Newton Creech (Creech-938) are the same person.
