Jacob was born in 1746. He was the son of Jacob Greib.
He passed away in 1814. Buried in Turner Cemetery, Montgomery, Ohio. [1]
Research Notes
Harter-248 He has been listed as being born in Bedford County, PA. This is impossible because there was no Bedford County in 1749. In addition, it is questionable whether any but soldiers and frontiersmen were in the area that early. Also, the first white child birth recorded west of the Alleghenies was not born until the mid-1760s.
Harter-248 He may have married Barbara Shideler (b. PA and d. Wayne Co., IN) - daughter of George Shideler, Sr.
