However, only two daughters are named in the will, those being Dorcas and Rachel Crockett. Two son-in-law's are name: Jacob Cochran and James Davis, but the name of their wives are not given in the will. Robert's son Archibald is named as one of the Executors, and is named as Robert's only male heir.[1] The two son-in-laws named in Robert Crockett's will were: Jacob Cochran who was married to Robert's daughter Jemima Crockett, and James Davis who was married to Robert's daughter Mary Crockett.
No documents have been located in searching records in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina or Giles County, Tennessee to show Elizabeth Crockett was a daughter of Robert Crockett and Rachel Kerr.
