Biography
Benjamin Crowfoot , son of John and Sarah Crowfoot, was born probably in Springfield between 1694 and 1697 (births of brothers). His birth was not recorded but by a deed we know that he was the brother of John and Thomas.[1]
"August 27th: 1726 Benjamin Crofoot of Springfield Enters his Intention of Marriage with Abigail Spencer of Suffield & their Publishment was posted up the Same Day"[2] Suffield was part of Massachusetts at the time of their marriage.
"September 14th: 1726 Benjamin Crofoot and Abigail Spencer were Joyned together In Marriage" [2]
Abigail Spencer married 14 Sept 1726, Benjamin Crofut of Springfield, Massachusetts, son of John. She married (2) Benjamin Wright 23 Nov 1761.[3]
Benjamin Crowfoot, private from Springfield, served his country Aug 26 to Oct 1 1725, under Capt. Samuel Willard.[4]
