Biography
Mathys was born in 1865. When he married in 1879 he was a farmer at Goespasvallei (?), Ladybrand. He passed away in 1936. His final resting place is in the Cronjé farm cemetery at Zyferbult, close to Steenbokpan 50 km west of Ellisras, Waterberg District, Northern Transvaal, South Africa.
