Agnes Crophill or Crophull, only child and heiress of Thomas de Crophill of Cotesbach and Newbold Verdun, Leicestershire, and Sibyl de la Bere, was born about 1371/2 (aged 9 in 1381, aged 12 in 1383)[1] possibly in Leicestershire, England, where the family had lands.
Agnes married first to Walter Devereux, Knt.,[2][3][4] of Bodenham, Herefordshire, son and heir of William Devereux, Knt., before November 1382.[1] They had the following children:
Sometime between 1401-1436, Agnes, as Walter's widow, sued Richard de la Bere in Chancery.[1]
Agnes married second to John Parr, Knt., of Kirkby-Kendal and Parr, Westmorland, (d. bef. 6 Oct 1407)[1][4] son of Sir William Parr and Elizabeth Roos, after 20 June 1401. They had one son:
Agnes married third, before March 1417, as his second wife, to John Merbury, Esq.[4] (d. 29 Jan (or 3 Feb) 1437/8), probably younger son of Thomas Merbury, Knt.. They had no issue.[1]
Agnes died testate on 3 February 1438.[1]
